Coaching
One thing at a time
Groups run 1 to 15 athletes, so a coach can watch your kid and fix the specific thing holding them back. Shannon said it in her Google review: “the coaches take the time with each kid.”

Football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, track. Your athlete learns to run, cut and accelerate the right way, from coaches who fix one thing at a time.
“Made a huge difference in my sons running and coordination.”
[ 01 ] The work itself
Most athletes have never been taught how to run. They condition at practice and nobody corrects the mechanics. Elite Speed coaches the three things that decide whether an athlete separates or gets caught.
Illinois high school seasons are set by the IHSA and they do not line up with each other: the state finals land in March for basketball, May for track and field, June for softball and November for boys soccer. One foundation has to carry an athlete across all of them.
Where the feet go before the athlete has time to think about it. Clean feet are the difference between a cut and a stumble.
Arm action, knee drive, ground contact. Small corrections here show up as whole tenths of a second, in every sport they play.
Most plays are decided before anyone reaches top speed. We train the start, out of a stance, over and over.
[ 02 ] Programs
Position work for football. Sport-specific speed for baseball, softball, basketball, soccer and track. All of it built on the same foundation.
[ 03 ] How it works
Coaching
Groups run 1 to 15 athletes, so a coach can watch your kid and fix the specific thing holding them back. Shannon said it in her Google review: “the coaches take the time with each kid.”
Commitment
It works like a gym. Come when your schedule allows. No season-long contract, no travel-team obligation, no penalty for a week of school ball.
Transfer
Better running form and coordination follow your athlete onto the field, the court, the diamond and the track. Multi-sport athletes do not need a different gym each season.
[ 04 ] The room
February does not cancel training. Boys and girls of every age come from Granite City, Edwardsville, Collinsville, Belleville, O’Fallon, Glen Carbon, Troy, Maryville and Alton, and they get the same session in the middle of winter that they get in July.
[ 05 ] From a parent
“Worth doing for every athlete from any sport.”

Elite Speed memberships run from $30 to $480 a month depending on the program. Group speed and agility classes start at $30 a month, a single drop-in class is $30, and position-specific football training runs higher. The first session is free, so every athlete can try the training before anyone pays anything.
Elite Speed trains athletes from youth through high school and beyond, across football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer and track. The speed and agility class is built for ages 13 and up in groups of 1 to 15 athletes. Younger athletes train in the general speed program, where coaches scale the work to the athlete.
The Elite Speed free trial is one full session at no cost and with no commitment. Your athlete goes through the dynamic warm-up, the speed and agility drills, and position-specific football work if that is their sport. You watch the whole thing. Nobody gets a sales pitch at the end of it.
No. Elite Speed runs on a flexible membership that works like a gym membership rather than a season-long contract. Athletes come when their schedule allows, which is the whole point for families already driving to practice four nights a week. Parents in our reviews call the flexibility the reason they keep it going.
Elite Speed coaches mechanics, not conditioning. Sessions work the footwork, the running form and the first three steps out of a stance, which is where most athletes lose ground. A coach watches one athlete at a time and corrects one thing at a time, which is what separates coaching from a drill video.
Yes, and most do. Speed, coordination and change of direction transfer across every sport, so a multi-sport athlete does not need a different gym each season. Elite Speed trains football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer and track athletes in the same building, on the same foundation.
Elite Speed sits in Granite City, Illinois, in the middle of the metro-east corridor and close to the highway.
