Schedule the free session

The Elite Speed free trial is one full session at no cost and with no commitment. Your athlete goes through the dynamic warm-up, the speed and agility drills, and position-specific football work if that is their sport. You watch the whole thing. Nobody gets a sales pitch at the end of it.

Illinois high school seasons are set by the IHSA and they do not line up with each other: the state finals land in March for basketball, May for track and field, June for softball and November for boys soccer. One foundation has to carry an athlete across all of them.

  • A coach picks a session time that fits your week.
  • The session costs $0 and there is nothing to sign.
  • No pitch at the end of it.

A coach will get back to you with a session time. We are on the floor Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm.

[ 02 ]   The hour itself

What the hour looks like

This is a real training session, not a tour of the building. Your athlete works, you watch, and everybody goes home knowing whether this is the right spot.

Dynamic warm-up

Every session opens the same way. Athletes move through a dynamic warm-up before anybody sprints at anything, because the first hard rep of the night should not be the first rep of the night.

Speed and agility drills

The three things we coach: footwork, running form, and the first three steps out of a stance. Groups run 1 to 15 athletes, so a coach can watch your kid and fix the specific thing holding them back.

Position-specific football work

If football is their sport, the session includes position work. Wide receiver, running back, defensive back, linebacker, offensive line. Every position gets coached here, and linemen are athletes too.

Then you go home

No clipboard, no closing table, no rush. Talk to the coach if you have questions, take the week to think about it, and come back when you are ready. Group speed and agility starts at $30 a month if you are.

[ 03 ]   Questions

Before you book it

What happens in the Elite Speed free trial session?

The Elite Speed free session runs the way every session runs. Your athlete goes through a dynamic warm-up, then speed and agility drills that work footwork, running form and the first three steps out of a stance, then position-specific football work if football is their sport. Groups run 1 to 15 athletes.

Is there a sales pitch at the end of the free session?

No. Nobody follows you to the parking lot with a clipboard. You watch the whole session, you talk to the coach if you want to, and then you go home and decide. If you do want to keep going, the membership works like a gym and group speed and agility starts at $30 a month.

When can we come in for the free session?

Elite Speed is open Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and closed Friday and Sunday. Send the form or call (618) 326-1555 and a coach will put your athlete into a session that fits your week.

What if my athlete has never trained like this before?

Most first sessions at Elite Speed are exactly that. Coaches scale the work to the athlete in front of them, which is the whole reason groups stay between 1 and 15. The speed and agility class is built for ages 13 and up, and younger athletes train in the general speed program.

[ 04 ]   Still here?

One hour. Nothing to sign.

You will see the drills, you will see the energy, and you will know inside an hour whether this is your spot.
