[ 01 ] All ages, all levels
Elite Speed runs a women’s fitness training program that helps adults build strength and improve overall fitness. Coaches work with women of all ages and every fitness level on strength, flexibility and endurance, in a supportive room at 3985 Horseshoe Lake Rd in Granite City. Technique comes first, and consistency does the rest.
According to the CDC, an adult needs at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity a week plus two days of muscle-strengthening work. Strength is half of that guideline, not an optional extra, which is why resistance work sits in every session here rather than in a separate class.
This is a separate program from the youth athlete classes. It is written for adult women who want to get stronger, move more easily and feel better in their own week, and it is coached the same way everything else in this building is coached: somebody is watching how you move and telling you what to change.
Exercises vary from session to session so the body keeps being asked something new, and so the training does not become an hour you dread. Coaches teach proper form and technique before load, because form is what keeps you training instead of sitting out with something tweaked. Consistency is the part we push hardest, because it is the part that decides the result.
Training is indoors and on turf, so weather never cancels the plan. Elite Speed is open Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm, and it sits close to the highway for anyone driving in from Edwardsville, Collinsville, Belleville, O’Fallon or Alton.
[ 02 ] What it is built on
The plan is written for you, the coaching happens in the room, and the room is one where nobody is being sized up.
01
Your routine is set to your goals, your schedule and your starting point, then adjusted as those change.
02
Progressive resistance work that adds real strength, not a token set of light weights at the end of class.
03
Conditioning that raises your endurance, scaled so it challenges you without flattening the rest of your day.
04
Range of motion work in every session, so you move well and keep moving well as the strength goes up.
05
There if you want it, and left alone if you do not. Some women want help with food, some have that part handled.
06
Motivating and encouraging by design. Nobody is judged for their starting point, and that is a big part of why women stay.
07
Trainers who know the movements, watch your technique and fix it in the moment instead of after the fact.

You train at 3985 Horseshoe Lake Rd. A coach takes you through the warm-up, the strength work and the conditioning, and watches how you move so the plan fits you.
After that first session we set the routine, the frequency and how it progresses. Pricing depends on the plan you land on, so we talk it through on that first call before anything is booked.
[ 04 ] Questions
Women’s fitness training at Elite Speed is for adult women of all ages and every fitness level. Some women arrive having never trained in a gym, others have been training for years. The routine is set to the person, so nobody is asked to keep up with a program that was written for somebody else.
The goals women bring here are usually weight loss, muscle toning, increased endurance or general health. Training works on all four at once, because strength, flexibility and conditioning are not separate projects. Your coach sets the emphasis based on what you actually want to change.
Elite Speed does not publish a fixed price for women’s fitness training, because the training is personalized. Call (618) 326-1555 and we will talk through your goals, how often you want to train and what that costs, before you book anything.
No. Coaches teach proper form and technique from the first session, at whatever weight and pace is right for you. The room is supportive on purpose, and the women training next to you started somewhere too. Showing up consistently matters far more than what you can do on day one.
[ 05 ] Make the call
Calling is the quickest way in. Ring (618) 326-1555 and you will get a straight conversation about your goals, what the sessions look like and what they cost. If you would rather put it in writing, send the form and we will call you back.
