[ 01 ]   O’Fallon to Granite City

How far is Elite Speed from O’Fallon?

Elite Speed trains O’Fallon athletes at 3985 Horseshoe Lake Rd in Granite City, reached by taking I-64 west and then I-255 north to I-270. Group speed and agility starts at $30 a month, position football work runs Monday through Thursday, and every athlete’s first session is free.

Athletes here come out of O’Fallon Township High School District 203, and their seasons are set by the IHSA: state finals in March for basketball, May for track and field and June for softball. Elite Speed is not affiliated with the district.

O’Fallon is on the far side of St. Clair County from us, which sounds worse than it drives. The whole trip is interstate: I-64 to I-255, I-255 to I-270, and off by Horseshoe Lake. You spend the drive on the highway, not crawling through four towns worth of stoplights.

The route from O’Fallon

  • Take I-64 west out of O’Fallon toward Fairview Heights.
  • Pick up I-255 north and follow it to I-270.
  • West on I-270, then off toward Horseshoe Lake Rd.

Roughly half an hour in normal traffic. One of our Google reviewers described the facility as easy to get to and not too far off the highway, which holds true from this side too.

O’Fallon families have one extra reason to already know the name. Elite Speed 7v7 has played the Championship 7v7 tournament right there in O’Fallon, alongside Pylon in Chicago and the Flight Shootout in St. Charles. Read about Elite Speed 7v7, or start with the free session.

Athletes driving up from O’Fallon play for O’Fallon Township High School and the youth programs feeding the Panthers. Elite Speed claims no affiliation with the school. It is the off-season and in-season work a school schedule cannot fit.
